Juan Eduardo joined Falcom as a partner in May of 2014. He took on the responsibility of creating Falcom’s Fixed Income business, forming and serving as a Portfolio Manager for Chilean Fixed Income strategies that offered clients a value proposition combining public and private debt, as well as strategies focused on Latin American Bonds in dollars with an emphasis on ESG and local currency.
In 2022, he assumed the responsibility of creating Falcom’s Real Estate division, launching a fund aimed at developing residential rental buildings in the US Midwest.
Prior to his work at Falcom, Juan Eduardo worked on the trading desk at Citibank and Banco de Chile in Santiago, and later at Credit Suisse in New York, where he managed currencies, options, bonds, and interest rate derivatives books.
Juan Eduardo studied Civil Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He holds the CFA designation and an MBA from Kellogg/Northwestern University.
