Until July 2013, Jose Miguel was Vice-Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Bank for Chile and Peru and an advisor for Latin America. From 2006 to 2012, he was president of that bank in both countries. Prior to that, as Chief Executive Officer and Head of Global Markets, he led the opening of Deutsche Bank franchise both becoming listed in Peru and in Chile. He worked as Chief Financial Officer of Banco Edwards from 1995 to 2000 and before that, he was Head of Trading and Derivatives at Citibank. Jose Miguel started his career as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Banchile Asesoria Financiera.
He is currently Vice-President of the Electronic Stock Exchange of Chile, director for Banco Consorcio and Inmobiliaria Baker, and President of Falcom Asset Management.
Jose Miguel holds a degree in Business and Economics from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.
